Re: Monday June 29th Sortie

That being said , I think we should be watching out tac view files and analyzing our flights . I think this is the way forward for improvement. We lost a fighter last night , and it would be interesting to see the failures that caused this to occur .

Monday June 29th Sortie

PDT_Armataz_01_37

Great flying last night guys! Comms discipline was far far better , I believe we had relatively good cohesion and situational awareness, and we kept a pretty clean pattern above the carrier . All around well done .

Re: Interest in Coordinated Strike Packages on Snowfox?

If I may add to this . I think we all would be highly interested in adding more coordination into our sorties . I think this all hinges on the time everyone logs on . I say we set a time for an initial briefing so we can quickly discuss the mission , take notes / notes , and a bit of general banter....

What a great write up man. I think we could all easily internalize this and become a much more effective strike package.

Tonight’s Session.

Hey gentlemen! What’s the plan tonight! I though last Monday’s session was quite fun and suggest we do a similar thing! I’d love to train some more 2v2 or 3v3 dogfighting in the viper .

I’m down for whatever , let’s discuss!

Awesome flight navigation training FREE

Thought I’d add this really useful link . If you have any sort of flight sim program like FSX or X PLANE, all of this info is really great for advancing your piloting skills .

Re: Tiger II and canon deflectors

Typically yes when you want to use the gun , you need to preplan your shot , and open the first stage of trigger . To circumvent this, you could set stage one to an unused trigger on the Hotas and just leave it open constantly.
