Re: an unusual pair

I don't think I could fit in the Mirage cockpit. That plane is tiny!

Nice AAR!

I think that large black spot on the ground is where my A-10 crashed. LOL

Re: Interesting to anyone?

I forgot to add that my fundamental problem with "Naval Action" is that it is largely focused on MP. I just want a solid SP experience with realistic physics modelling and an in-depth campaign mode.

Re: Interesting to anyone?

I remember "Wooden Ships and Iron Men" but never played it. I was into naval sims for a while but then kinda lost interest in the genre since nothing came out that grabbed me like Silent Hunter 4 or Dangerous Waters did. Interestingly, some of the most immersive naval combat I've experienced is in T...

Re: Pulled the trigger.

I'm not buying any of the WW 2 planes or maps until DCS makes a full fledged career/campaign system which utilizes those assets.

Once I get some good flight hours with the F/A-18 and the MiG-21 then I'll be getting the F-14.

Panzer, you may think me foolish, but I really enjoyed See and For All Mankind.
Why would I think that? I haven't seen either of those shows but I plan on watching "For All Mankind" when I sign up for Apple next year. Jedi saw it and he liked it quite a bit.

Panzer I hope that you did make it out this way for a game and local fare!

I really hope so too. I have the vacation time. The main issue is the money since I KNOW the trip won't be cheap! My wife is NOT into history at all but I think she'll still have a good time.

Re: Hello!

I'm hoping to finally make it out to Boston for a week next year during the summer. Naturally I'll be going to a game at Fenway and I'm sure I'll be gorging myself on beer, clam chowda and seafood in general. :-)

I'm not Bostonian. That's a misnomer of Panzer's. I live south of Boston in one of the suburbs. You and I know the difference between living in Boston and living on the south shore. Two different worlds.

I'm sure if you asked the USAF leadership at the Pentagon they would say "god-like".
