Shouldn't you go in first to take down the shields for the Cruisers? :P Plus you are so damned fast and maneuverable, you could easily get away (in theory).

problem I have is to make use of weapons my forward shields are pointed right at target, and if there are a few ships there they nail me, I use the shield regen powers a divert to forward shields a lot. basically If I take agro I may not live long enough to do loads of damage.

If you didn't get an email telling you about it (I didn't) go to the STO main site and take the subscriber survey. I got 240 Cryptic points for taking it. That's enough to unlock a Federation Klingon.

Yes I took the survey...........

What the heck are "Persistant PVE Zones"....is that like Atlas Park in CoH (a MMo started by Cryptic) or am I missing something.

Also I liked how there was no question about a DP.....Shakes head.....Cryptic marketing cant even get a question in a poll that has generated what, 120+ pages in a day or so?

Oh and Lifetimer here and I gave the game a 5/10, $20, $10 fee.....it could be so much more, but I fear the more loot peeps and their DP crusade will suck whats left to enjoy out of the game....sigh

Dam figured I would see them asking questions like "do you want a death penalty" and other hot topics. Man they don't get it, perfect opportunity to get a decent overall idea. Mind you some may get everyone to try and vote a specific way lol. they would need to hunt down people in forums doing that and say nope this needs to be legitimate.

According to what some are saying the end of the 'grace period' should be Thursday, March 4 - which is 30 days from last day of the $240 LTS offer (Feb 2). Not sure who's right. As usual, there are plenty of folks trolling and muddying the waters, so to speak.

The mods are attempting to clean up the forums after the weekend outrage over the 'sale' thing - locking/deleting threads right and left. More drama than a month's worth of "Days of Our Lives". No, I don't watch that. Anymore. Too much like Caprica.

is that the "sale" with 60 days free? That ticked me quite a bit. Is that 60 days in addition to the original 30 or is it 60 instead of 30?

heh...the extra 60 days is gonzo and it seems that even if you took advantage of it over the weekend.......it retroactively removed the extra 60 days....and now a new group of people are pissed....

So sayeth Phoxe:

"I've heard many voicing concerns that we will not be honoring this sale for anyone who took advantage of it this weekend. This is not the case at all, and anyone who decided to take advantage of the offer will receive what they purchased, as advertised."

Drama or not, I'm still loving the game. Something about it keeps me coming back for more.

Supreme Commander 2 has been shipped, and I'll be playing that for the next few days after it arrives. :)
