Sisko

Let see he punched out a Q, beats up klingons a lot and was a boxing champ or some such thing lol. Pure bad ass. O and ya he is the embassy for the prophets, the gods of bajore so he got some gods backing him up lol For example those gods at sickos request made a MASSIVE dominion battle group of thousand of ships not exist lol.

Now swap out Janeway for 7 of 9 and I change my choice to her, as she is a fighter (atleast one episode she is forced to fight for tv basically)

Here's hoping that if a new series does come along it's will stick to the original timeline instead of the alternate timeline from the last movie so they won't be tempted to remake classic episodes like 'Space Seed'. Because you know they will. And they'll get someone like Renée O'Connor to play Khan. And they'll find some way to turn half the cast into Katee Sackhoff. Pavelina Checkov. Leona McCoy. Montgomery Ann Scott. Crazy transporters. One little boo boo...

So what are some basic plots you can think of which have been used frequently in all of the ST shows? Here are some that came to my mind,

1. Some aliens get on the Enterprise and take it over.

2. Some kind of transporter accident causes a huge problem.

3. Enterprise visits an alien planet caught in some past Earth era. (ie Nazi planet, 1930's gangster planet, Old West planet, Roman Empire planet, etc.)

4. The captain seduces and/or falls in love with some hot female alien. (Mostly applies to TOS)
