Chevy for both missions, although if anyone is willing to buddy lase (or we can call out JTAC) I can bring a GBU-24 on the Mirage, will that crack one of those hardened bunkers?

Oh man, we should definitely do that and have the Mirage drop on the bunker. That would be awesome!

Put me down for
Pontiac (Strike) F/A-18 for package 1
Dodge (SEAD) F/A-18 for package 2

Although happy to shift around based on numbers and pilot interest tomorrow!

I'll take ground strike for both of them. I'll load up the F18 with the litening pod for buddy lasing, a couple of GBU's and fuel pods.

Can an F18 buddy lase for a mirage? Same laser code?

Hi Smada,

Nope, 0100 zulu or 8pm EDT. Sorry, my mistake. I was looking at the conversion chart entirely! I’ve since edited my post.

Followup - it is highly likely that the GBU-24 is not working properly. ED has not had it in the code for years, at least since the Mirage-2000 was released. Not fixed yet. I wonder if that weapons mod has it, will check.

Actually if you are wanting to start at 8pm EDT, then it is 2400 zulu time.

In any case, the mission starts at 8pm EDT.

What is the time in the mission itself? Will it be day or night?

Hmm...if I make it in time for the first mission can take Dodge or Pontiac as needed. If not I can do Chevy on Alert 5.

For the second mission I can do either Dodge or Pontiac.

I can also take the Tomcat, load up some TALDs and help the SEAD guys decoy the SAMs and AAA for killing. Actually I think I might do that, then transition over to Fighter Escort/CAP.

When I log on I will ask what the situation is and choose accordingly.

I'd love to sign up for Chevy in the first mission, likely cannot stay for the second.
