My wifes snake

Post by Hudson » 30 Jul 2007, 11:36

This is definitely my wifes. I touched it til it started moving so I could take some pics and then locked it back up. I don't trust snakes! PDT_Armataz_01_07

Now here is the picture thread where I half-expected something I didn't want to see.

we have a coastal rosy boa - it has gotten Nidia over her fear of snakes... much smaller than that one though - luckily i can feed it frozen mice - i would not be able to bring myself to feed a mouse or rat to another animal. guess i am funny that way. i thought Nidia had put some pictures of it into our gallry, but it does not look like it.

a suggestion - get it it a larger cover so it can completely hide. being in the open all the time can stress it...

we were watching 'venom 1' last night. the one thing they kept reiterating was to never trust a snake. even if they seem calm and relaxed, they can suddenly strike.

It can actually fit well under that half log, but it never does. It just curls up behind that plant. Not sure if it jus doesnt care or what the deal is. I've seen it under that log just once...

Like I said, it is not really mine... I just look at it sometimes and mutter something about it eating me if it had the chance...
