Yep, I'll be there. Maybe Hammer has the game installed and will join us? :)

Yup, that would be great. See you at 8 then.

You did very well. That is at least as good, if not better, than I usually do without labels. I appeared to do so well only because I had you at a disadvantage, having created the mission eons ago therefore remembering some of the details and because I cluster bombed the truck convoy at the docks.

I was thinking I can create a 'practice' mission with target areas for guided bombs, cluster bombs, dumb bombs, mavericks, rockets, guns, etc. with stuff that doesn't shoot back so we can practice firing different weapons with different aircraft. I know if I want to use the Su-25T and Ka-50 I need a lot more practice.

But target areas could be close to the air base, since they aren't threatening, making it easy to switch out aircraft and practice with whatever we want.

I also don't know what the Ka-50 and Su-25T are capable of, but when flying the A-10C we need to figure out how to create waypoints (not hard) and pass SPI's back and forth as it makes playing without labels a team effort and makes things a lot easier. 3 or 4 people scanning with eyes and TGP's tends to have a lot better results than one.

With being able to set new waypoints you can find a target on the F10 map view or using JTAC (I believe) to get coordinates of a unit, punch it in, and then set it as SPI. Passing SPI's because all it takes is for one person to spot a group of targets and everyone else is able to find it.

Once we're brave we can remove labels first, and then braver still, from the map as well. The A-10C is just a boring machine to fly with labels on though. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

I also wish they would add smoke rockets to most of the load outs. Almost every load out has an empty hardpoint and yet no smoke. Kinda lame, but I can remedy that in missions I create, and we could work on a file with custom rlg loadouts too. I for one am a much bigger fan of 87's/103's than I think most people are so that would be high on my list. :D

Yes, eventually I would like to be able to drop labels entirely. I never used labels in Falcon 4 but that's mostly because I had a pretty good AA and AG radar. Next time we fly I'll be flying the SU-25T.

Yup, that's definitely a good guide. Do you want to fly this Thursday night at 8? We might as well take advantage of your week off from work! I want to fly the SU-25T this time.

Ya, let's do it. I am working evenings, but I can take a 'lunch' break and do some. We can just fly the mission I made with target ranges. Lots of targets to test weapon deployment on and doesn't require lots of concentration on my part. I'm going to try to set up a night attack mission too. Could be fun.

I actually did one in the A-10C and it was pretty sweet. Not as hard as I thought it would be.
