Crystal Ball

Belly up to the bar, grab your favorite drink and listen to stories about the universe we play in. Be ready for some trash talkin' too, because we know what alcohol can do... This is the ROLE PLAY forum, tell your war stories, brag about your kills and victories, and lament about your defeats. Everyone is welcome but you must register first to post.

I used to like to walk the straight and narrow line
I used to think that everything was fine
Sometimes I’d like to sit and gaze for days through sleepless dreams
All alone and trapped in time
All alone and trapped in time

I wonder what tomorrow has in mind for me
Or am I even in it’s mind at all
Perhaps I’ll get a chance to look ahead and see
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball

Tell me, tell me where I’m going
I don’t know where I’ve been
Tell me, tell me, won’t you tell me
And then tell me again
My heart is breaking, my body’s aching
And I don’t know where to go
Tell me, tell me, won’t you tell me
I’ve just got to know

Crystal ball
There’s so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
There’s so many things I’ve got to know
Crystal ball

[extra verse used occasionally live]

If you should see me walking
Through your dreams at night
Would you please direct me
Where I ought to be
I’ve been looking for a crystal ball
To shed the light
To find a future in me...
To find a future in me...

Crystal ball
There’s so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
There’s so many things I’ve got to know
Crystal ball

Man! If that doesn't bring back some memories.
I killed many a roach after an evening at the skating rink to that one.

God I'm old.

Aye those were good days. :P Heading out to the roller rink with a collar shirt and bell bottom pants. I actually met my first girl friend at a place called Roller City. Me and my two older brothers were whizzing around in circles from 8-12pm every Friday night. I never could get the hang of backwards skating tho . I don’t recall much Styx at the rink , but they were always playing some Foghat or Ted Nugent at the 10-O-clock hour. Mostly Disco and slow jams towards 12am. ..... Image ....Roller Blades . I tried them a few years ago , but it’s just not the same. I could hardly keep balanced.

Yeah, those were the days.
I eneded up working at the rink to pay for my training and "costumes" after I joined the dance and figures team there. We were all soooo convinced that roller skating was going to become accepted events at the next Olympics. I guess after all of us wanna bes gave up, nobody gave a squat any more.
Hmmm, I don't think I've seen skates in the Olympics yet.
Now that I think about it, there was this red head that I was hot with too....
I see a trend.
LMAO

We're so damn retro, we're cool again!
