Friday night
Anyone coming tonight for some Wargame? I'll be on teamspeak tonight.

I'll be there with my shiny new Linux version
To be honest it's not quite so shiny at the moment. They have a few issues[1] to work out. But it's still Beta for Mac/Linux yet fully playable, so I'll be there.

They don't want to know what I feel about them.
Re: Friday night
apparently desyncs are not the fault of the linux beta. They happen on windows too. 10v10 games are apparently an easy way to expose the problem.

10 vs 10? Our game was just 3 humans vs 1 AI and we still had a dsync!

I said easy way. I didn't say only way :-P
There are lots of complaints of desyncs on the wargame ab forums.
There is/was (the last patch may have fixed it according to what I was reading) a huge memory leak in the linux version causing it to bog down and get laggy. It may be that the lag from that made it come out of sync more easily... who knows. It seems regardless of platform its got problems at the moment.
