Re: Rudder Pedals

I can't speak to their reliability or accuracy. I own a pair of Saitek rudder pedals. The rudder pedals are metal and sit in a plastic base. They have toe breaks. The problem is they are very sensitive. I could probably fix that in-game with some curves. My experience with Logitech X-52 Pro wasn't g...

Combat spread

I'm listening to a podcast about the F-106 and the former pilot described their combat spread as line abreast, I assume about a mile wide, with 10,000 feet of separation to maximize radar capability. He described this as a radar attack formation so that they could pick out their own target. Typicall...

Tomcat Legend Dale Snodgrass Dies in Plane Crash

I don't know if anyone else saw this, and so I'm posting it here. Dale Snodgrass was one of the most legendary fighter pilots to ever fly the Tomcat. Apparently, his private, single engine airplane crashed on take-off and he died in the crash. It's absolutely tragic and a terrible loss to the fighte...

Re: DOCKING IS HERE!

Well that’s a bummer that we have to wait so long. But I guess I have some two girls Fred other games I can play on the meantime. Ah well. Disappointing. I’ll check back in a year and see how it’s going.

Re: DCE campaigns

Well if you’re not using the mission directly, then I could make sure the load outs, airframes, liveries are correct and then just mail you the fil for you to cull as needed. I can probably do that in the next few weeks, assuming I’m home, just so that we have it if needed.

Re: Waypoint Question

Adding the waypoints in the jet is not a super big deal, a bit time consuming but not the end of the world. Pre mission brief would likely be necessary so everyone could get the coordinates and punch them in, if we decide to go this route.

Re: DCE campaigns

I could do that with some previously made missions, sure. Would I need to remove triggers and just make it vanilla so that the DCE does all that or need I only add planes?

Re: RAZBAM again?

Is there distinction/argument that they are modeling theirs on a mid-2010’s USMC Harrier? But the Marines were the only ones using it, right? If so, I can see why ppl are angry.

Re: Waypoint Question

Just to add, it might also help if we try to join the same flights as much as possible so that the waypoints are the same. As that will not always be possible, we will have to select a flight from which to draw waypoints so that we’re all heading in the same direction. When inputting coordinates via...

Re: Introduction - Trichome

Bones, I haven’t launched any since before the most recent updates either. As far as I know, TGT Designate should be enough to handoff to JSOW. Trichome, totally agree with your assessment. Typically , we are a bit more organized and more coordinated in the beginning of the mission at least. We were...

That…..sucks. I’m so sorry that you were up all night working to repair the damage, and the night before the ceremony too. Man, you can’t catch a break lately. Thanks for getting the servers back up, although I can’t fly here on OGT beach.
