Re: Mission Night 10.02.24
Missed flying with you all last night. I'm working long days and spending early AM and evenings on the computer working on my other projects. Utah is beautiful right now! 53-80F with very low humidity and clear skies. Welded steel water line that connects two water plants and servers SE Salt Lake Ci...

Re: Won't be on tonight 9/25
My October plans changed again. looks like next time I'll be on RON for Tuesday nights or DCS on Wednesdays will be in November.
Grifter: I'll be in Salt Lake City. Any light hiking recommendations? I looked up Arches Nat'l Park but its like 4 hours away.

Re: AV-8B cockpit build
Yeah I saw a nice one and a guy in Switzerland makes them but $1800 or something like that. I did find a collective on Etsy and then could add a Thrustmaster stick. I'm not ready to give up my yoke and throttle quadrants though and seems strange to keep adding hardware. I'd have to somehow weld a pl...

Thanks. Too tired to join last night. Hope things went well. I did manage to update DCS but didnt have time to load it up.
its a day trip to 3 hours each way with a 2 hour meeting/presentation in between and then returning to an evening work meeting. Long day ahead next week.

Re: Small Update 08.20.24
I saw theres an update. I have something tonight so if I get on DCS, it'll likely be after 9pm ....if I'm not too tired. Been fighting fatigue lately and going to bed earlier than normal and work has been good but busier than normal. I will jump on and update DCS when I get a chance. Next week have ...

Re: AV-8B cockpit build
Wow. Thats some heavy duty construction. Necessary costs.... I took a plunge on an airbus autopilot controller through kickstarter and it paid off. Some have had issues but mine has worked great. I was in the 1100 range and they sold out all 2000 they made. No regrets. They're starting to make other...

Re: MLB seaosn so far
1935 Boston Braves: 38-115. 61-1/2 games out of first place. This was 2nd worst percentage-wise that I could find.
Welcome back Bones! If there is no DCS patch, flying on Wednesday will be a waste.

Re: Mission Night 07.17.24
To follow up:
Lots of fun getting back in the F18. Just like riding a bike and did better than I expected. I really need to learn the F16. Its the only aircraft in my hangar that I haven't learned yet. Also need to learn the F18 Mav's at some point.
In that video enemy missile in the teeth at 2:41.

Re: Mission Night 07.17.24
Even though just 3 of us on, good op last night and mildly successful. DCS update does not show kills for some reason, just the score. I will post some videos this evening. We attacked the dam. - Panzer took out some bombers and I think and F-5 in an F15 - Jedi took out some boats and ground targets...

Mission Night 07.17.24
Not sure if foothold is running or not. I plan to be there but it'll likely just be me, Panzer, Jedi and Wingy with you slackers off on vacations! I planned on using the Mi24 or flying fixed wing for a change. PDT_Armataz_01_11 If its not running we can always skip til the following week when Tricho...

Re: Afghanistan
I bought it for $56 I think. I have only loaded it up to see it. Its about the size of 3 or 4 typical DCS maps. The Southwestern portion has the most detail so far. I haven't explored it yet but plan to. I'll do some exploring and post pictures.
