Re: New Foothold Campaign: Sinai 03.21.24
Will be updating the mission on the server soon: 2 Harriers are spawnable at Ben Gurion You were right! All the Harriers everywhere were set to Late Activation....must have been an error. The mission author said nobody flies the Harrier in his squadron so they never noticed! - Fixed the Harrier Spa...

Re: New Foothold Campaign: Sinai 03.21.24
Requests for Syria Foothold:
Please add flyable SU-25T's and also allow the Harrier to use any available friendly airfields. Xpen was unable to spawn a Harrier at all.
Thanks!

Re: Foothold Extended 03.06.24
Hey bones. Would it be possible to add the SU-25T to Foothold? Quite frankly the travel time for helos is just too far most of the time in this campaign.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Masters of the Air: Episode 8
PS the scene where the colonel teaches them how to rip out a German throat was pretty disturbing. Although not as disturbing as the squish squish squish scene from Poor Things. On a related note, Peter Jackson in one of the LOTR commentaries mentions a story about how Christopher Lee was showing hi...

Re: Masters of the Air: Episode 8
BUt I would also think given how much hatred there was for anyone non-Ayrian by the Nazis that they wouldn't simply be Geneva Convention nice to black aviators. At least in "Hart's War" they touched on that with Terence Howard. v6, boNes These historical facts are little known but there w...

Re: Masters of the Air: Episode 8
As bones implied, this series is squarely aimed at mainstream audiences and not history/military aviation enthusiasts.
I would estimate that 95% of people who watch Hollywood movies and/or tv shows featuring military operations have no clue when there are inaccuracies being portrayed on screen.

Dune part 2
I watched Dune part 2 this early afternoon. I was blown away by it. Villeneuve and crew really did an outstanding job here. The final battle for Arakeen and the duel between Paul and Feyd provided about 20 solid minutes of non-stop action and drama. It's been a very long time since I've felt this mu...

Re: Tornadoes
That's truly some scary stuff bones especially since the advance warning you get with tornadoes is usually like 15-30 minutes. The only major natural disaster I've gone through so far was Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and even then, I really wasn't affected very much. I got power back after 2 days and my...

Re: Ready or Not 02.27.24
Oh wow. Glad to hear you are all ok. This is actually an eye-opener for me because people don't usually think of Chicago when they think of tornadoes. They think Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, etc. but not Chicago.

I watched this astonishing film again yesterday and unless there is a movie out there I have never heard about before, I don't think any film based on the Arthurian legend comes close to matching this brilliant work of art by John Boorman. Every single aspect of this film works flawlessly: the cast,...
