NBT Classic MegaMek Pre League Tournaments

Hey you wild and crazy ELH guys, NBT is doing some 'PLT's prior to the start of their NBT Classic Megamek League. If you've ever thought it would be fun to play Megamek in an NBT-type planetary league situation, go to the NBT site and see what's what. If not, don't. Huzzah!

megamek is turnbased, correct?
if so, can time limit be put on turns so games do not draw out forever?
if it was based upon mechcommander, then i might be interested... i prefer real time vs turn based.
