MechWarrior Online stats

Post by Bronurstomp »

I just found there are stats kept on our win/loss ratio and kill/death ratios.
I love stats!
Mine suck atm though... hehehe

Find them on the MWO site, when you are logged in, under profile, look mid page for tabs, and you'll see one says stats just under the Forums box on your profile page. Its not very prominent, but look for it, its there.

My Kill/Death 312 / 465. 0.67 Ugh lol.
My match win/Loss 240 / 443. I dont feel too bad about this, being in PUGs usually.

Average 500 exp per match.

Let get some group drops on comms so I can improve my stats!

i attribute a small amount of my suckage to using a Cicada that I have just recently gotten to be a decent mech by pouring money into it.

Now that I can monitor my stats, I'm a LOT more serious about getting kills versus getting killed hehe. Although I have far less control over whether I win or loose a match, until we get the band back together and dropping as a unit, I suspect that won't change much... hint hint!
My new kill / death ratio... 335 / 483 for a .69 is a little better than my previous .67 but not much lol. I have to have a lot more kills to get any where near to even at 1.0.
Win loss: 260 / 460 for a 56% wins. Slightly better than 1/2 but not nearly as good as Slayers 74%.
Guys I'm really having fun with MWO, as you can see from my 720 games lol. I hope it succeeds! I'm looking forward to fighting as a group!

i am doing opposite Bron, will sacrifice myself to help the team get a win (even if you have no control over the team). i think wins are more important than kills. more c-bills and xp.

Aff. I TRY to do whatever I can to get a W for my team. I'm put my rear end out there already to try and draw units out or pull them into a position where team mates can get back shots ... unfortunately without comms. unless ppl are paying attention it usually just ends up in me getting my butt blown off. :)

I've fought my rear end off already defending to get a W. Hell I even tied one for us as last man standing against an Atlas. (I pilot HBKs atm) ... Only time I ever saw a tie.

Tie I beleave coems form hitting the 15 min timer. But its not that simple, the system can still declare a winner or a tie.

Slayer (Aeross) was the last guy on our team, and there was only an Atlas left on theirs. I had already died, and so I was in the cockpit view watching the fight. The 15 minute timer ran out while they were still fighting. So with each team having one mech left, and no one at either base it called it a tie. I think we would have won it though, Slayer was clearly the better mechwarrior in that fight.

I posted a suggestion on the forums. Interesting response, I have to answer it lol.

They should be able to declare a winner based on XP gains and damage done. If it's not a clear victory (CAP or Slaughter) and there are equal amounts of mechs on both sides it should still be able to declare a W. They could even weight it somehow based on mech tonnage, although that would be tricky and very objective. Still ... should be possible.

OR!

Give both sides the option to select a re-match! Actually that option would be good to have in any match up. There have been matches that have been VERY balanced and I would've loved to replay with those teams, but "Atlas" ... the option is not there in the teams dissipate, never to form again.

I'm sure there are lots of ways they will be improving this game. When you have good ideas like that, post them on the forums. I just wish there was a good way to find where to post stuff like that. I always seem to put shit in the wrong place hehe.

Anyway, I have been kicking mechy butt with my Gaus cat and my nasty little Raven.

Kills/ deaths : 424 / 564 now at .75; Getting closer to 1!

I had a run of bad luck PUGs and got killed in several games without getting any kills. Dropped my ratio down to .72 from .75. But, having you guys with me the other night, I it back to .73. My new Phract load out works great, 2 AC10s and 4 med lasers. Incidentally, I have always tried to be a team player. I just wasn't paying ANY attention to how often I got killed. Now I tend to keep track more, and try not to switch targets until mine is down.
Speaking of stats... I heard Malin talking about Planetside2 being a free download so I decided to try it out. It took me quite a while to figure things out, until I played enough the other night to make some progress.
I have a .21 kill ratio in Planetside lol. I did manage to get up to level 7 while involved with a very long and protracted battle, where I was very well positioned in a MAX with engineers nearby repairing me and refilling my ammo. A mobile station was also nearby so I could switch from anti aircraft to anti tank weapons. Many hours of sleep lost to that game Monday night...totally missed the football game hehe.

Image

Well to my knowledge there is no way (yet) to link to live stat data, so what i did here was took a screeny of my stat, cropped it in photoshop and linked it from my dropbox. Now I can just update the image in dropbox and this SHOULD change here. .... we shall see. PDT_Armataz_01_34
