OEM windows Cheep ????

About to build a system for my nefiew. OEM windows 7 or if I dear try it 8.1 is 100$. Wondering if anyone has a source for cheaper oem copys ?? Note had to be available to canada EH.

the cheapest I know of is student versions.

Ya I remember those days but my student card no work for that at my university. I tried years back :)

He is in highschool so don't think he can get it via that

o well I got the system built and found a copy of windows out of it. 920$ total, reused a old case I had form a pc 10 years back. Cool looking case but has aretro look ith a 3 1/2 disk drive in it (not hooked up now). I wiill post up the system later.
