All the different houses, Clans, units etc used different rank systems. If you have a specific one in question I might be able to help.

The short answer is none. For most of its life the 'real' ELH was a mercenary unit. Currently it is a regular regiment of the rebuilt SLDF. It would be best to read the History section on the site for the full story.

ELH ranks run in assending order from
Recruit, Trooper (Private), Corporal, Sergeant, Master Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brevet General. As part of the SLDF Brevet General is now Brigadier General.

The majority of this info comes from the FASA publiication 'Mercenary's Handbook'.
