4.) This looks like the Stargate effect; but I'm thinking it is Contact
5.) No clue. Thinking maybe an Indiana Jones movie or something for some reason. Probably off by a million miles.

correct on #1, #3 and you were right with your first instinct on #4.

Well, I can only suggest it be Cross of Iron, 1976. It's the only other one I can remember him being dressed in a German uniform.
