One of the videos was removed by YouTube for "Content that intends to praise, promote, or aid violent extremist or criminal organizations." WTF? They cited 11:43 in the video, which is me landing and and an F-16 nearly crashes into me head on and I go "Whoa, an F-16 nearly took off right into my face--that would have ruined my day."

Seriously? How does that support a criminal organization or aid violent extremists?

stupid AI bots.

I appealed the video. IT didn't even give me the option to explain, it was just an "appeal" button and it just said that they would review it and give me an answer in 72 hours.

A few minutes later it came back and said nope. Still banned and no more appeals. What a bunch of crap. So now I have a warning on record, and if I get another it will be a strike and my channel could be shot down. All because some AI bot thinks nearly getting into a mid-air collision is supporting terrorists or something. This is so stupid. They claim that humans look at the appeal, but it is clear as day that it is innocent and the decision came back in a matter of minutes. I seriously doubt a human looked at it. I feel like since a bot can just out of the blue accuse me like this, what's to say it can't do it on any video at random and there's nothing I'd be able to do about it.

I’ve been following this issue for a while now. Their claims that a human reviews appeals is completely bogus. They rely on AI for all the screening and it makes mistakes all the time. Ultimately, YouTube (Google) doesn’t care. They just to make money.

Well, I reviewed the whole thing and could not find any other instance as to where else it could be construed as against their policy. For the part they flagged, I just deleted it off the footage, plus some time before and after it to be sure. Then I resubmitted it. They came back a few hours later and said, no, it's still against policy and they flagged a portion 45 seconds into the footage. I reviewed it and it was me asking Creeper if he was being bothered by Flankers and him saying no. Great, job AI!

So they said that the video won't be posted. I still have a warning on my record, to which I think I can have expire after 90 days if I take their version of sensitivity training. What a bunch of BS.

I probably could care less about the warning but I'm not fine with the grounds behind it. The last think I need is to have on record that a warning or strike against me was made because they said I was praising or supporting a violent criminal organization even though I was not and nothing in my footage even suggests so. Ifthey could flag you for anything like that, what's to stop them from flagging you for something else random and even get your channel shut down?

Oh, and the forum post I made? No reply or comments were made and it was locked down. Nice.

Welcome to the dystopian future, a police state ruled by our AI overlords. Keep the video and the AI responses in case anyone questions your reputation.
