125 cc dirt buggy

Post by Mooseman »

Oh yeah, one of the ultimate boys toys. Tubular frame chassis, with engine, brakes and electrics off a Suzuki GS 125 - got it off ebay, fully running for £230. Now begins the task of stripping it down, cleaning it up, repainting it etc...fun fun fun....then off course i get to rag the nuts off it!! :)
Pics to follow, assuming i remember :)

Everyone seems to be putting some little projects together. Need to find one for myself . . . . :(

yeah, me and my brother have stripped all of the components off the frame, which is going to be sent for sandblasting fairly soon. Gonna hand paint it matte black enamel rather than get it powder coated - no point in doing the latter, only for it to get chipped off. Then just need to mount all the bits back on and we're ready to rock and roll.

apparently it has happened a couple of times...the guy i bought it off told me that it used to have a harness, but when it rolled and the guy was strapped in and actually bent his crash helmet so badly he couldn't get it off, they decided to take the harness out :)

All fun and games
