Alyx is looking a bit thinner is this episode. For the first hour you’ll spend most of your time wondering through underground tunnels fighting off acid spitting spiders. After that it gets allot better….
You hook up with Alyx and she’s totally hot for you and wants to come along., so okay , lets go find the car. Finally we find the car and take a long ass cruise through the mountains fighting off Overwatch Soldiers.
Came up on a few of these along the way. They're not easy to take down either.
Then we find DOG! Woot!
He was in the middle of battling one of those Striders and kicking it’s ass. That was a good fight that went on for a few.
Finally we meet up with Doctor Isaac Kleiner and Alyx Father who said he was waiting on grand kids. She bluched and looked away from Gordon Freeman.
So far so good. I played this game for like 6 straight hours and had to put it away. Whew.. Much of it is the same same as Half Life2 , but they have new creatures and different ways to fight them off , or get health from them. Lot’s of easy puzzels you’ll need to figure out along the way in order to continue with your journey. It’s all good. Oh and yeah , you can ditch Alyx if you want too, but it’s always nice to have her along to remind you of certain things you drove by and need to back and get , or things you need to do while she waits in the car.
