Close Combat: Modern Tactics

Post by Softball »

This looks similar to the version I have (Close Combat Marines) from a USMC magazine I receive. I'm starting to dislike computer game developers right now....they keep emptying my wallet. Lol.

I just might get this if the reviews are favorable. I LOVE the Close Combat series, I have every version.

Close Combat Marines was "real time" wasn't it? At least that's what I remember.

Upon further reading, it looks like this version is designed for MP only. I will most likely not be getting it if that is the case.

the usmc version was typical close combat, top down 2d.

i think the one you all are referring to was the last release of something close combat - don't remember what it was called but is was a fps, right?

this game says:

AI: YES, either side

so maybe you set up a server and play a MP game by yourself...

if you want the scoop on this game go to this web site:

http://closecombat.org/

you will find out more than you want to know. there is already a ww2 mod released for this game...
