well, it seems that the new version has more maps and an editor released. that may mean more coop, and the ability to create coop missions. i am installing it to have a look. best part - no excuses - it is free.

i believe the few times we have played it it has been a good, solid game?

if you are going to just download and install the new full installer (2.83) uninstall your current version first!

do we need to uninstall or is there a patch version?

you would have tpo get multiple patches to get to 2.83. i think 2.70 to 2.80, the i am not sure if there is only one to get to 2.83 or three...

I think I'm already at 2.80 ... that's the "full installer" that's on my pc ... plus, i already have the 2.82 patch.

Currently downloading the 2.82 -> 2.83 patch as well as the 2.83 map pack ... whatever that is.
