Thanks. I have done more since. I have been working on the display electronics and bringing things online, interacting with DCS in real-time.

I honestly am in awe. I wish I had the talent to build something like that!

Thank you! I am slowly making more progress but it's almost at a snails pace it seems even though every little thing takes a long time. My wife is showing signs of frustration with the amount of time I have spent on it this summer so I probably have to back off a little. I go back to work on Monday, after having been off since the end of May for my 10 year sabbatical. I can't say I am fully ready to go back! But I got to do what I got to do!

My cockpit now has a proper working ejection handle. And a working seat arming handle. I designed and built both of these replicas from scratch.
On the other hand I had a step backwards. I had recently installed a 43" Samsung tv, replacing the crummy 19" screen I had as the primary display... but last week my poorly built screen mount failed and the TV crashed into the main instrument panel, permanently damaging the Samsung tv. I will have to replace it.

Some of the latest pictures. Unfortunately the big screen is out of commission as I did a not so great job building the support structure for the 4x4 post. Admittedly it was done in a hurry and only half baked. One of my daughters knocked the supports lose on accident and the screen crashed into the back of the main instrument panel. The screen was free, but now I have to buy one.
