Mk84 and mavs for Lomac here

Post by Hades »

here is something i found att official lomac forum
"
Payload 1 contains:

4 Mk-84 2000lb. Bombs - Pylons 4,5,7,8
4 AGM-65B Mavericks - Pylons 3,9
2 LAU-61 2.75" Rocket Pods - Pylons 2,10
2 AIM-9 Sidewinder
1 ECM Pod

Payload 2 contains:

2 LAU-10 5" Rocket Pods - Pylons 2,10
4 Mk-84 2000lb. Bombs - Pylons 4,5,7,8
4 AGM-65B Mavericks - Pylons 3,9
2 AIM-9 Sidewinder
1 ECM Pod

Payload 3 is a fix:

2 LAU-10 5" Rocket Pods - Pylons 2,10
2 Mk-84 2000lb. Bombs - Pylons 5,7
4 AGM-65B Mavericks - Pylons 3,9,8,4
2 AIM-9 Sidewinder
1 ECM Pod

** This fix is due to some info I got from Dice. Having that many Mk-84's + the Mav's distributed on racks per pylon puts the aircraft grossly overweight. I have reconfigured this back to 4 Mav's, 1 per pylon, and gotten rid of 2 Mk-84's. The above 2 configs had 2 tons worth of Mk-84's and that wasn't very realistic.

-Bomb with the Mk-84's like you would the default Mk-20 cluster bombs.
-The Lau-10 Pod is different than the LAU-61 in that there are only 4 rockets per pod instead of 7, but they are larger and carry a larger charge
-The Mk-84 sets off quite a bang and 1 well placed Mk-84 will take out a couple of vehicles."
