Soon as I’m done with that than maybe I’ll move onto G.C.II It’s not as good as the original but it’s still a fun playing game.
Than ! While I was at Comp USA the other day I saw a copy of Mech Commander II for only $9.99 , that was also a good game to suck up some spare time. I still have it ready to install just in case I might need it again one day.
Might be awhile before I play HomeWorld again. I’ve done it and did it time and time again until I’ve gotten to the point where I just want to meet Karen Sjet in person.
Been thinking about Free Space this last week. More than likely I’ll wait for the Battle Star Galactica Mod on that. I’m still thinking about the B5 Mod tho.
I got the Battle Field 1942 II game a few weeks ago and it’s all set up for online gaming. So that’s a bummer because I like missions too. Well yeah of course there are missions however it’s all on one map with no venturing into a roll play or story line. It’s pretty much set up for capture the opponents base before yours is captured. It has good weapons and is a little more realistic than it’s competition. One example would be , leading your target through a Sniper Scope. Otherwise you cant hit the dang guy

GR was the coolest tho. Play single player missions or jump on the net and bring your squad with you. Nice… With the exception of Half Life II , Fear and Nexus , I think some PC gaming programmers (or their companies) are just getting lazy nowadays and making online gaming an excuse for not programming so much. Maybe the boss wants to cut down on the hours paid to the programmer or , maybe the programmers think other people will provide suitable Mods to help them out with their online games to make it popular. What their missing out on is the genuineness of their prior programmers who thought that making an awesome single player mission would bring a good game to life , one with good roll play and a good story line. One that could make it a very popular offline game with some online gaming potential. Like GR
