I actually liked playing the Freelancer PC Game released by Microsoft in 2000 , that was always pretty cool to explore space , dock at space stations , cruise around planets and pick up new weapons when you blow away another space pirate.
Now here we are many years later and I would say Everspace is much like Freelancer in many ways - Yes you can warp to another star system and shot it out with other spaceships. Unfortunately this game was never finished- so moving on

I no longer play Elite Dangerous so I may consider this game. I'll check out the video.

Well I gave upon Everspace because it was an unfinished BETA game with all hype.
Plus I found Elite Dangerous is just like Everspace – but it’s a finished game that has already been tried and tested.

I just recently got back into playing Elite Dangerous. It's a great game even though I've found myself with running out of new things to do.
