If the old version of the game is sooooo good, why not keep playing it?
well for myself, if you want to play other games you have to upgrade. i mean you cant play oblivion on a 200 mhz pentium. with that in mind..... NM95 died for me when the jump jet bug came along with the pentium 2 CPU. after a long time they did create a fix for it, a CPU underclocker, that slowed your computer down and the bug went away, for the most part. the program did cause alot of crashes and sometimes didnt work. somthing unpredictable like that shot playing online to hell hehe.
now i realy liked mw3, the graphics and physics were cool. the problem with that was they didnt secure the game at all. it got totaly hacked to hell. the ability to create new maps was very limited and new mechs were out of the question. (as far as i seen to date.) Pirates moon was cool too, but again hackable, and limited maps. you can only get killed in the same place so many times ;)
MW4, used to work great for the longest time... then blackknight and mercs came out and still worked good. for some reason latly ( last year or two) i get it installed, play it a few times, get all excited to go do multiplayer and get the snot blown out of me ( after hours of DLing and installing the needed files) i clicky the little icon and its ERROR TIME WEEE lol. and thats it for that install. if its not that then the game play is a slideshow. ive asked around, spent hours apon hours on the net looking into it and nada. so finaly after a great deal of disapointment i gave up on it. there are alot of great games out there, just nothing to replace the way MW seemed to fill the basic gameing needs i have. although tribes was alot of fun in its day
the expresion of desire in games is not bad i think. the hopes of what could happen could spark ppl who have the abilities, just not the ideas. so new wounderfull games can come from it, or, maybe, old loved games can come back. i honestly doubt i will see a new MW game that will tweak me like the other ones did for so long. if one comes along, then great. if not let me cry in my beer man! ;)
